2022 Diwali Variety Show

The Eternity Band, in collaboration with Newark Library, City of Newark and Audacity Music Club, organizes 2022 Diwali Variety Show at Newark Civic Plaza, Newark, CA

This is a FREE AND OPEN TO ALL community event.  Our local temples, theaters and community members of all ages will be presenting Indian culture through music, dancing, ceremonies and poetry.  Free children’s Indian culture activities such as henna painting and diya decoration will be provide by our volunteers.

Our 100% community member-run, volunteer-based Diwali Variety Show smashed all expectations.  It was an eye-opener as promised and everyone had a blast.  Our outstanding volunteer performers presented Indian culture with spectacular sights and sounds.  Our members Anjali / Diya / Nivi / Nitish / Samskrith performed in the show and our band sound engineer was Aaron.  Our crafts volunteer team, consisting of band members Andrew / Chris / Claudia /Madison / Sophie / Wanzhi, and guest volunteers Amishi / Ruchita, entertained community members with free Diwali balloons, henna painting and diya decoration.  We thank Newark Library, City of Newark, CA Government, Fremont Hindu Temple, Newark SMVS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, and JLHS Audacity Music Club for your support.  We will see you in a bigger and better Diwali Variety Show next year.

Charitable Cause – Raising Funds for Homeless

This winter, our sister organization Audacity Academy Club at JLHS is raising funds for 375 scarves (Scarves 4 Charity), 1200 pairs of socks (Socks 4 Charity), 500 pairs of underwear ( Undies 4 Charity) and 250 T shirts ( Shirts 4 Charity ) for donation to homeless services in Union City, Fremont, Newark and Milpitas.  Please support their cause.  Visit  www.goaudacity.com/projects for details.
