Audacity Music Club and the Eternity Band organizes monthly community concerts at various Bay Area BART stations across the Bay Area on 4th weekend of each month. The goal of the program is to democratize live music performances and bring our community together. Sign up options will be shown in the Google form below as they become available and will disappear when program list / time is filled. (You will need to be signed into your Google account to use Google Form.)

Q:  What is Music By The Tracks?

Music By The Tracks is a monthly community concert series inside Bay Area BART stations, inspired by the Bach in the Subways movement ( https://bachinthesubways.org ).  

This program is similar to our (Tri -City) Library Music Hour community concert series ( www.eternityband.org/lmh ), which was created and run by the Audacity Music Club since July 2022.

Q:  Who can perform?

Any community member.  However, due to high demand, not all submitted programs will be admitted.  The Audacity Music Club will vet the programs and notify those performers who are admitted.  

Q:  Who runs the activity?

Audacity Music Club, a student music club at James Logan High School, Union City

Q:  What equipment do you have on site?

Roland electric piano / Casio accompaniment keyboard / stand, music stand, microphone / stand, audio mixer / player

Q:  Do you provide piano accompanist?

Yes. We will have a volunteer piano accompanist for every LMH and MBT community concert to accompany our guests via sight reading. Because our volunteers are not professional, there is a limit of what they can handle. Please upload the main score and accompaniment score in ONE SINIGLE PDF file (100mb file size limit) under the last question of our sign up form and we will include accompanist confirmation in our confirmation message.

Q:  Do I need purchase BART tickets?

Concerts will happen in a FREE area inside BART Stations. No ticket purchase needed unless you need to travel on BART trains

Q:  Any requirement on the length of the performance?

Under 10 minutes for individual.  （ Time limit for groups are on case by case basis. Contact us to discuss. )

Q:  Can you play the same piece in multiple performances

Yes, if there are spots on the dates you select.

Q:  Does this activity come with volunteer hours?

Absolutely.  Volunteer hours will be certified by FUN Youth, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  ( https://funyouth.us/faq )
