About Us
Founded in 2018, the Eternity Band is a Bay Area community music powerhouse, performing / organizing 70+ volunteer shows a year. We currently have 3 high school bands Audacity 21/22/23 and a middle school band Eternity Band 2.4. Besides our own high profile band concerts / variety shows in collaboration with Alameda / San Mateo County Fairs and many cities across the bay area, our high school bands, also known as the Audacity Music Club, run year-round community concert programs such as the Tri City Library Music Hour (www.eternityband.org/lmh) and Music By The Tracks (www.eternityband.org/mbt).
The Eternity Band is a democratic institution where our members collectively determine all our affairs, including the programs we will play and the shows we will perform. Our volunteer service is backed by our own 510c3 nonprofit organization FUN Youth (PVSA certifying organization / www.funyouth.us ).
Our band is a platform for our members to practice music, learn theory / composition, discuss academic studies, socialize with each other and spread their joy of music to our community as a team. We are a democratic institution where members decides their leaders, their programs and their directions. Our members engage in music through a multi-layer approach ( individual solos / small group ensembles / general band ensembles ), with a goal to competing in high level band competitions / music composition competitions.
We perform volunteer concerts year round for local libraries, senior centers, kindergartens, homeless shelters and other charitable organizations in the Hayward / Union City / Fremont / Newark area. Our members also perform other volunteer activities such as community cleaning and art / academic tutoring. Collectively the band accumulates over 1000 volunteer services hours every year.
Audacity Performs US National Anthem for “CA State Assembly Local Unsung Hero Award Ceremony”
We were recognized as a “Local Unsung Hero” by the CA State Assembly and were invited to perform before the ceremony.
