Since July of 2022, AC Library and the Audacity Music Club have been organizing regular schedule community music concerts at Fremont Main Library / Newark Library / Union City Library on Saturdays between 2:30-3:30. This concert series is a platform for Tri-city community members to come together and share music. Local music enthusiasts now have 3 opportunities each month to sharpen their skills through performances, present their music instruments, and volunteer for the community at the same time. Volunteer service hours will be awarded those who need them. ( Don’t live in area? No problem, we also bring our community concert to you! (Check out LMH sister programs Music By The Tracks monthly BART station community concerts at www.eternityband.org/mbt )

Q: What is Library Music Hour (LMH)?
The organizers want to give community members the opportunities to perform music on regular basis, educate the public about music instruments, and in the process bring the community together through music events.
Q: What is Library Band Hour ?
Library Music Hour is mostly a solo / duet community music talent show. But we also want to give music ensembles a place on this platform. So we will designate a few LMH shows throughout the year to feature bands , orchestras, choirs and ensembles of all genres. These shows are called Library Band Hour shows
Q: What is Coolest Music Instruments presentations?
Audacity Music Club members and community members perform formal slide presentations and educate the public about various music instruments. These presentations usually include presenter self introduction, history / mechanisms / techniques of each music instrument, complete with live demonstration piece and master performance appreciation. Currently we can facilitate music instrument presentations at Fremont & Newark Library.
Q: Who can perform?
Any community member. However, the Library gave the organizer criteria of the programs, and all programs need to be vetted against these criteria.
Q: Who runs the activity?
Audacity Music Club in collaboration with AC Library
Q: Do you provide piano accompanist?
Yes. We will have a volunteer piano accompanist for every LMH and MBT community concert to accompany our guests via sight reading. Because our volunteers are not professional, there is a limit of what they can handle. Please upload the main score and accompaniment score in ONE SINIGLE PDF file (100mb file size limit) under the last question of our sign up form and we will include accompanist confirmation in our confirmation message.
